By day it reflects sunlight, keeping the greenhouse cool, while its white strips also provide a high level of light diffusion – bringing light to the plants from many more angles and stimulating growth. By night it helps to retain heat, maintaining a steady temperature and saving energy. The steadier temperature minimizes formation of dew on the crop, reducing the risk of fungal diseases. For extra ventilation, an open structure version is available.
