Newly renovated showroom in Helsinki
Our Finnish agent Buying Service OY’s recent showroom renovation completed earlier this year. Buying Service Oy has been the agent of Svensson in Finland for over 30 years and Krista Saharla, who runs the agency, is the second generation in the company founded by her Mother.The showroom, located in the heart of Helsinki's design district has been completely transformed. Designer Marianne Sundell / Visionhouse was commissioned to create the urban industrial interior.
Svensson - A part of Konstfack´s 175 year history
During spring 2018 Konstfack's restaurant ‘The Plant’ was decorated with a huge woven photographic collage. The textile art was designed to commemorate 175 years of Swedens University of Arts, Craft and Design also known as Konstfack.

New Tableau plays its part in homage of Ingmar Bergman a 100 year memorial
The exciting upholstery fabric called Tableau is part of the new spring collection from Svensson. Already, the newcomer is showcased in the celebration of the 100 years memorial of Ingmar Bergman, selected by students of the Swedish Träcentrum producing furnitures inspired by the movies of the demon director.
Svensson chosen for project in New York City
In Morningside Gardens in Northern Manhattan, MRHS - Morningside Retirement & Health Services - has been active for over 50 years. This spring and summer, residents are excited to experience the recently completed transformation of its dated community centre into a stylish and functional gathering and group-activity space where older residents can socialize and meet for a wide range of activities.
Degree exhibition Konstfack
Elin Stampe is a taking a bachelor in Textile at the University College of Arts, Crafts and Design in Stockholm, Sweden. For her final project she was sponsored by Svensson, and with the use of Econet 1535 she created her installation “Ögonblicksbilder”.
Inno chose Vy and Dia for their award winning furniture
The 2016 fall upholstery Vy and Dia decorates a sofa and a lounge chair from the Finnish furniture manufacturer Inno as part of the showroom refurbishment. The furniture comes from the award-winning series Aura.
Herman Miller mix a dash of pattern with the powerful 'Harbour' range
The Svensson Accessoire collection is woven with eco-labelled wool and brings together twelve quite different patterns. Herman Miller has chosen Etage, Infra and Nest for their standard fabric collection.
Icelandic Interior Designer Fröken Fix chooses Svensson
One of Iceland's most popular interior designers "Fröken Fix" chose three upholstery fabrics from Svensson when Iceland's largest insurance Company received a facelift.
