Annika Svedberg has been appointed new business area manager for interior textiles at Svensson. She previously worked for Colorama, and was the CEO of eight Colorama stores in Varberg and Gothenburg for the past four years.
Svensson chosen for project in New York City
In Morningside Gardens in Northern Manhattan, MRHS - Morningside Retirement & Health Services - has been active for over 50 years. This spring and summer, residents are excited to experience the recently completed transformation of its dated community centre into a stylish and functional gathering and group-activity space where older residents can socialize and meet for a wide range of activities.
Svensson will be closed for summer holiday from 17-28 of July. After that we will be back with new energy.

Elin Stampe is a taking a bachelor in Textile at the University College of Arts, Crafts and Design in Stockholm, Sweden. For her final project she was sponsored by Svensson, and with the use of Econet 1535 she created her installation “Ögonblicksbilder”.

Successfull days at Designer's Corner
The 20th edition of Designer's Corner in Oslo, Norway was a huge success! About 200 interior designers and architects visited the event, and was given the opportunity to take a closer look at this year's interior design news.
Aoi Yoshizawa selected for Habitare's Talentshop
As one of four young talented designers, Aoi Yoshizawa has been selected to exhibit her textile designs at the Habitare Talentshop in September in Helsinki. Svensson is proud of collaborating with Aoi for several years, and beautiful Svensson fabrics such as Aki, Kiri, Vy, Sawa and Sumire carry her name.
Key and Khaki with AquaStop
Svensson is proud to introduce AquaStop, an additional option for our flame retardant upholstery fabrics Key and Khaki. A special technology is used to apply the 100% waterproof polyurethane membrane to the back of our fabrics.
Svensson reinforces sales team in Sweden with a new appointment.
As of the beginning of March, Svensson strengthens its sales team in Sweden with the addition of Mia Handin. She will be responsible for sales in southern Sweden.
