Design, functionality, and sustainable material choices take centre stage in this spring’s collection. By combining tactile surfaces, stylish structures, and recycled materials, we’ve created textiles that contribute to pleasant environments—acoustically, visually, and sustainably.
Recycle your Trevira CS textiles
All textiles in this collection are made from flame-retardant Trevira CS polyester fibre, making them part of our established return program in collaboration with Indorama Ventures Fibers Germany GmbH. When the textiles eventually need replacing, we take them back for recycling. We believe in creating textiles that make a difference—not just today, but for the future as well.
Seam
Seam is a hanging textile with high acoustic performance, improving sound quality in public spaces. Its light transparency lets natural light flow through, merging functionality with aesthetics. The elegant drape makes the curtain easy to style, while the fine texture provides a sophisticated look. With a width of 300 cm, Seam can create wide curtain panels that effectively cover large areas, making it versatile across various applications.
Wow RE
Wow RE is an expressive upholstery fabric whose subtle patterning creates a dynamic look. The chenille yarn delivers a soft and inviting feel while providing a forgiving surface, particularly suited for healthcare and education environments. Yarn-dyed colours combined with an irregular weave add depth, creating an expressive and lively aesthetic. Made from 73% recycled Trevira CS, the fabric is both washable at 60°C and a sustainable choice.
Cheers RE
Cheers RE is a timeless and sustainable upholstery fabric made from 100% recycled Trevira CS. From afar, it appears solid-coloured, but up close, subtle shimmer emerges from contrasting yarn colours. Its timeless design makes Cheers RE a perfect complement to other textiles like Wow RE and Jolly RE. With a broad colour palette and sporty aesthetic, Cheers RE is ideal for offices, hotels, and restaurants.
Jolly RE
Jolly RE is a small-patterned upholstery fabric where recycled chenille yarn contributes to a soft and tactile experience, adding an inviting atmosphere to public spaces. Yarn-dyed colours combined with a repeat structure provide depth and a forgiving surface. Its extensive colour range balances earthy tones with vibrant accents, making Jolly RE a versatile textile that’s easy to coordinate.
Artistic direction by TAF Studio
This spring’s launch highlights not only innovative materials and sustainable production techniques but also the presentation of the products themselves. TAF – Gabriella Lenke and Mattias Ståhlbom – who have also designed Svensson’s booth concepts and showrooms, have carefully crafted the photography to reflect both creativity and origin.
