Eva began her journey at Steneby School in the 70s. In the true spirit of the time, she and her classmates cultivated their own flax, spun their own yarn, and explored the material's properties and possibilities. After Steneby, Eva continued her education at the Swedish School of Textiles in Borås, laying the foundation for her broad knowledge.

In the early eighties, Eva started as a designer at Marks Pelle Vävare. At the small factory in the heart of Sweden's textile kingdom, she gained insight into all processes, from creating yarns to designing exhibition stands. This is where her interest in upholstery fabrics was also born. Structures, yarns, and weaves that create significant differences within the small details have become a hallmark of Eva's fabrics, and she is behind almost the entire collection of upholstery fabrics for Svensson.

At Svensson, designers are allowed to work with large collections and generous colour palettes. This presents a substantial challenge but also an opportunity to try new paths. Even after almost 30 years in the industry, Eva is still fascinated by life at the factory and the opportunities it offers, having everything from dyeing to processing and laboratory under one roof.
