Newly renovated showroom in Helsinki
Our Finnish agent Buying Service OY’s recent showroom renovation completed earlier this year. Buying Service Oy has been the agent of Svensson in Finland for over 30 years and Krista Saharla, who runs the agency, is the second generation in the company founded by her Mother.The showroom, located in the heart of Helsinki's design district has been completely transformed. Designer Marianne Sundell / Visionhouse was commissioned to create the urban industrial interior.
Svensson - A part of Konstfack´s 175 year history
During spring 2018 Konstfack's restaurant ‘The Plant’ was decorated with a huge woven photographic collage. The textile art was designed to commemorate 175 years of Swedens University of Arts, Craft and Design also known as Konstfack.

On 6-8 November, Svensson partnered with David design at Input Interior's event 'Input selected´.
Orgatec 2018
Orgatec in Cologne is over and what a show it has been! Svensson fabrics could be seen, not only in our own booth but also on amazing pieces of furniture with several of our partners.
Eco Label
In 2017, Svensson celebrated 130 years as a textile producer. Thinking and acting long term is in our genes. Now it´s even easier to choose environmentally safe textile solutions from Svensson with an additional 23 textiles added to our collection of EU Ecolabel branded textiles.
Plockepinn in traffic
Our fabric Plockepinn has been successfully specified for 125 buses on a recent prestigious transport project in Kristianstad Fylke.

As a starting point for a collaboration between Svensson and Offecct in Malmö, we held an event together in Offecct's newly created showroom.

800 kilos of fabric make all the difference in Rwanda
In February we shipped 800 kilos of fabric from Svensson in Kinna, to Gasabo, a community in Rwanda where the fabrics will help create jobs and better living conditions for women and their families. Behind the project is Swedish manufacturing company Safeman and partner Svensson, supplying both curtains and upholstery fabrics.
