Blackout and energy saving with a firebreak on every screen
For controlling day length, the double layered OBSCURA 10075 FB A+B brings 99.9% blackout – enough for the most sensitive plants. The aluminum upper layer reflects sunlight but retains heat at night. Choosing a white under layer intensifies supplemental lighting. Their unique knitted structure reduces condensation and allows them to be bundled to a small size for maximum available light. They are UV stable and remain clean and effective for a long time. Each climate screen has approx 40 cm (16”) of firebreak along both sides, intended to limit screen-to-screen fire spread. When properly installed, this provides approx an 80 cm (32”) of firebreak between adjacent screens.
