KTH
Environment and sustainability were the two ‘buzz’ words when Spectrum Architects were assigned to assist the Royal Institute of Technology KTH in Stockholm to locate various departments under one roof as ‘Sustainability House’. After a long process, the project is now completed and the result is an environment that holds flexibility for the future, able to evolve as the working methods and the people evolve.
Three bullets about the project:
42% of the furniture is recycled
100% of all textiles are eco-labelled
95% of all new furniture in the office is eco-labelled
From Svensson, the fabrics Accessoire Cent, Accessoire Pop, Step, Yra, and Karat were selected to play a part within various schemes.
