Ludvig Svensson, Inc. is seeking an outside Sales Manager to serve the Western United States and Canadian markets.

Location: West Coast, USA or Canada
(California/Oregon/Washington or British Columbia)
As a Sales Manager your role will be to develop business opportunities with both new and existing customers, calling on an established network of independent resellers and supporting them with end users (growers). You will act as the initial contact in any potential opportunity and work alongside the sales team to generate new projects.
You must be willing to travel to arrange meetings with existing and potential customers and will be required to continuously evaluate the distributor network, provide product training and support, and handle technical matters and calls. As Sales Manager your responsibilities include managing the sales cycle, handling sales quotes within this regional territory and building brand awareness. Some travel may be required to attend trade shows and industry events.
In this position you must balance sales management with the aspirations of a vibrant global brand. Not only will you need to integrate with our team here in the Americas, but you must communicate with colleagues around the world to pull in the same direction.
A Bachelor's degree or four-year college equivalent is required; a BS in Horticulture Science or Engineering is preferred. Candidates with a strong track record in technical products sales and 4+ years of experience in applied horticultural technology are ideal.
Compensation: Base salary + Commissions + Bonus. Great Benefit program.
